1. Who we are

EarnScreen is an iPhone app for families. A parent sets tasks, and a child earns screen time when the parent approves them. EarnScreen is run by Hugo Janssens ("we").

2. What we collect

From a parent or caregiver:

About a child, entered by a parent:

From the child's iPhone:

For a child under 13, we collect nothing until a parent gives consent. Children cannot make any information public. We never receive which apps a child uses or for how long. Apple's Screen Time keeps that on the iPhone.

Our hosting provider also logs IP addresses and request times, to keep the service secure.

3. How we use it

Only to run EarnScreen for your family: accounts, tasks, approvals, earned time, the rules on the child's iPhone, account emails, fixing problems, security and consent records. Never for ads, profiles or AI training. We never sell it.

4. Who receives it

These service providers handle information only to run EarnScreen for us. They must protect it as this policy does.

We do not disclose children's information to anyone else, unless the law requires it. During the beta, the install file lists the device ID of every beta iPhone, so other beta families could see that number, but not whose it is.

The app has no ads, analytics or tracking tools. No other company collects information about your activity across apps or websites through EarnScreen. Our website uses only the cookies it needs to work.

5. How long we keep it

6. Your choices

At any time, a parent can see, change or delete their child's information, delete the family or their own account, and withdraw consent. Withdrawing consent stops all collection about that child. Use Settings in the app, or email privacy@earnscreenapp.com.

7. Changes

When this policy changes, we update the date at the top. If a change affects children's information, we tell parents by email first and ask for consent again where the law requires it.
